Ted

TED is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 30 years ago, TED has grown to support its mission with multiple initiatives. The two annual TED Conferences invite the world’s leading thinkers and doers to speak for 18 minutes or less. Many of these talks are then made available, free, at TED.com. TED speakers have included Bill Gates, Jane Goodall, Elizabeth Gilbert, Sir Richard Branson, Nandan Nilekani, Philippe Starck, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Sal Khan, and Daniel Kahneman

The annual TED Conference takes place each spring in Vancouver, British Columbia. TED’s media initiatives include TED.com, where new TED Talks are posted daily; TED Translators, which provides subtitles and interactive transcripts as well as translations from volunteers worldwide; the educational initiative TED-Ed. TED has established The Audacious Project that takes a collaborative approach to funding ideas with the potential to create change at a thrilling scale; TEDx, which supports individuals or groups in hosting local, self-organized TED-style events around the world, and the TED Fellows program, helping world-changing innovators from around the globe to amplify the impact of their remarkable projects and activities.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized

TEDxVIPS

TED Talks is something that we’re all familiar with. Be it a TED event, or a TEDx event, the idea that how an “achiever” starts his journey and shares his experiences with others, pushing them to test their limits is really very inspiring & gripping.

After the success of TEDxVIPS at Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, the event is now back again to provide our students with an exhilarating experience & an opportunity like no other. The experience, learning & the adrenaline rush of having such a jaw-dropping event all whilst providing such an impactful opportunity is all set to make a comeback in the year 2022.

TEDxVIPS is hosting another edition to amplify ideas & bring an impact on the community on

25th of March 2022 with an aim to Unravel the Purpose of Being.

This time, we believe that the sequel will succeed what we accomplished in our first ever event and how it is all about setting new records & benchmarks. The one thing that we are undoubtedly aiming to carry forth is the hustle.

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies has never shunned down any opportunity to provide its students an insight into the practicality and factual aspects of both professional and personal life. With a person like Swami Vivekananda being the icon for our college, we believe it is our responsibility to cater to the creative as well as resourceful requirements of our students. And with a vision this bonafide and a faculty ever so willing to uphold, we’re unstoppable.

At TEDxVIPS, the ideas has always been & will always be to make people believe that they can be the catalyst for change, they can be something that can incite hope within people and to incline them towards a good cause fuelled by nothing other than sheer will & commitment. With an amazing speaker line-up & unparalleled event at our first go, we believe that this time we are set to make another memory for the students at Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies.
