Mr. P. Kannan, Vice President, Retails Liabilities, Kotak Mahindra Bank, interacted with the students of BBA and B.COM(H) and guided them that there is wide difference between what is being taught and what actually exists in the Industry. He explained the difference between the reality and expectations of the students from the market. What they learn at the Institute is different from what actually exist in the organisation so it’s required to bridge this gap between the two and map the skills of students with what corporates look upon.

Ms. Heena Handa, working with Boston Consulting Group interacted with the students and advised them the students to concentrate on their overall development. She asked them to go beyond mark sheets, score adequate and develop their persona as a whole. She guided them by telling them that they should check the latest developments in their aspired domains. This will make them to learn new skills in their area which will further increase their employability in the market.

Ms.Priyanka Bajaj, Senior Consultant, Ernst & Young told the students to hold the right and positive attitude and never say NO to anything. She advised the students to have learning aspiration in them and give in their best in all their performances both personal and professional.

Ms. Shweta Chandra,AVP, Yes Bank interacted with the students shared her valuable experience and suggestions with the students to be industry ready. Some of her key highlights included Improvement in communication skills, Improvement in interpersonal skills, Ability to work in a team, Importance of honesty and integrity at work, Habit of reading newspaper.

Ms. Kamini Kaushal from Axis Bank addressed the students of BBA (Banking and Insurance) and explained them about the energy and zeal required in management courses. She briefed the students about the current economic condition of the country and advised them to update themselves with the banking scenario of the country and make themselves competitive to survive in the world of competition. She also elaborated on the current scenario of the banking sector and explained the protocols followed at Axis Bank.
