VSLLS undertakes Client Counseling as a part of its core practical training domain to promote greater knowledge and interest among law students and encourages students to hone their analytical skills and initiate confidence building. VSLLS conducted its 6th Intra Client Counseling Competition on 6th September 2018 which involved the participation of over seventy teams. Various counsel came well prepared to set up their offices and to cater to the needs of the clients at large. The essence of the competition was to demonstrate to the student’s actual issues and ethical conundrums involved. All aspects related to in giving legal advice to the clients were discussed to enable them to make an informed choice. Mr. Aman Chaudhary and Ms.Gunjan Jaura and the winner of the client position, Ms. Sharanya. The teams were apprised as to how to improve their address and identify the client issues and concerns by Prof. (Dr.) Rashmi Salpekar, Dean, VSLLS.
2nd VIPS Dispute Resolution and Client Counselling Competition was hosted by Vivekananda Institute Of Professional Studies on 6th and 7th of April 2018 in association with Maadhyam- Council for Dispute Resolution. The national event saw participation from reputed law schools from all over India

The VIPS Mediation Certification Program was organised by the Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies in association with the Peacekeeping and conflict resolution Team as the first event of the Indian Mediation week. The event was attended by 120 participants from over 35 colleges including both students and faculties. It was conducted by the trainers Mr. Jonathan Rodrigoues, Mr. Arjun Natarajan and Ms. Tanima Tandon. The inaugural address by Prof Dr Rashmi Salpeker, Dean Vivekananda School of Law and Legal Studies (VSLLS) and the realistic lamp-lighting marked the beginning of the programme.
