Dr. Deepali Kamthania is distinguished Professor at Vivekananda School of Information Technology (VSIT). Prior to joining VSIT, she served as Associate Professor at Bharti Vidyapeeth’s Institute of Computer Applications and Management (BVICAM) during the period 2002 – 2014. She has experience of both industry and academics.
Prior to joining BVICAM, she worked in Ispat Industries Mumbai, Verticalbiz.com Thane and Foxboro Australia. She is one of the founding members in establishing MCA department at BVICAM. Dr. Deepali Kamthania has published over 50 research papers in national and international conferences / journals. Her work has been extensively cited in several journals. She has delivered lectures in many research seminars in the Universities in NCR. Prof. Deepali has extensively contributed in the area of solar thermal applications, artificial neural network, data mining, voice and pattern recognition. She has been reviewer and editorial board member of many journals. She has attended and coordinated more than 60 FDP / Seminar / Workshop /Conferences
She is guiding many research scholars in various universities. She has guided many industry projects such as JMC overseas, Shyam Power Solutions ltd., Satyam Infoway etc. She firmly believes that industry-academics close association and collaboration are must for sustainable and meaningful growth of both.

She has received the B. SC. and MCA degree from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh and Ph. D degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi. She is recipient of Academic Excellence Awards and also received merit scholarship in B. Sc from AMU Aligarh and Bharat Seva Trust Scholarship in MCA. She has also been awarded by Computer society of India (CSI) and twice by The Institution of Engineering Technology (IET) for significant contribution to IT field.
She is lifetime member of Computer Society of India (CSI), member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE), member of Asian council of science editors (ACSE) and life member of Indian society of technical education (ISTE).
