A University Gold Medalist in Mass Communication , she successfully completed her Masters in Mass Communication from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra in 2010

Did her Diploma in Journalism Hindi from Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi and was awarded PTI Scholarship for her academic performance

After clearing UGC NET JRF in 2011, she is pursuing her PhD from Kurukshetra University


Got book published in solo authorship titled ‘PRINT AND ELECTRONIC MEDIA’ by Anurag Prakashan , New Delhi

Work Experience

  • Worked with news channels like Star News ( now ABP News) and India News
  • Held responsibilities of conceptualization, story formation, research and recording processes for Radio Soap titled ‘Gulmohar Tales’ produced by BBC as a part of its Gender Empowerment Project (GERD )
  • Previously taught in Kurukshetra University and Fairfield Institute of Management & Technology as Assistant Professor in Mass Communication
  • Conducted various Radio Talks and Discussions for ‘Yuvavani’ at All India Radio , Rohtak ( Haryana)
  • Contributed various articles for newspapers and magazines on various social and political issues
